Eastern Madison County in Tennessee... * Until 1015 PM CDT Thursday. * At 410 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls For the South Fork Forked Deer River...including Halls...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flood water is flowing over several low-lying roads near the river and access to low-lying areas will be limited due to high water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 13.0 feet tomorrow morning and will eventually rise to 14.0 feet Sunday morning.
